A1 Donut Completes Resiliency Program, Secures Grant to Fuel Growth
We want to celebrate A1 Donut, one of the first of our small businesses to successfully complete the SBRL program. This accomplishment marks an important milestone in securing their financial stability and setting them on the path toward resiliency and economic growth.
For years, the hardworking husband-and-wife team behind A1 Donut has been a pillar of the Everett community, delighting customers with their fresh, handmade donuts. Like many small businesses, they faced challenges with aging equipment that limited their capacity. The SBRL program provided the crucial financial support they needed to improve their store operations. Thanks to the program, A1 Donut was able to upgrade its equipment, transforming its daily workflow. This investment has led to greater production efficiency, allowing them to serve more customers and expand their business. With this increased capacity and improved workflow, their sales have grown, and the business continues to thrive.
The owners shared, “Many thanks, and we really appreciate CACCWA for helping us with the SBRL loan to upgrade our business’ production equipment.”
The additional grant award will further bolster this success by supporting cash flow and covering daily operating expenses, providing essential stability as the business continues to thrive.
Throughout the entire process, A1 Donut expressed deep appreciation for the guidance and support from CACCWA. From the very beginning, CACCWA provided guidance with the application, technical assistance to prepare documents, and consistent follow-ups to make sure the business stayed on track. The owner shared that CACCWA’s dedication and encouragement gave them the confidence to move forward, and that this support has been essential to the success of their small family business.
Congratulations to A1 Donut on this fantastic accomplishment! We are thrilled to see this local small business continue to grow and bring joy to the community with every delicious donut.
